چکیده

Staphylococcus aureus (S.aureus) is an important zoonotic pathogen implemented in various hospital, community as well livestock infections. Pets dogs and cats have increased their close social relation with human leading to significant elevation transmission of zoonoticmultidrug resistant virulent pathogens.Diplex polymerase chain reaction was applied on ten clinical isolates obtained from wound nasal samples for detection twoslime formation encoding genes;icaA andicaD. The positive genes carrying were encouraged produce biofilm evaluated phenotypically by cultivation onto Congo red medium. Quantitative assessment done using a microtiter plate assay, also the formed examined fluorescent scanning electron microscopy. Four out tested tenStaphylococcus found harbor two separately. The four displayed production medium while only three produced biofilmin sterile polystyrene 96-well plate. One isolate associated dog infection developed strong which byboth microscopy.Staphylococcus diseased can that increasing virulence pathogenicity public health concern.

Detection of Intracellular Adhesion (ica) and Biofilm Formation Genes in Staphylococcus aureus Isolates from Clinical Samples

Background: The nosocomial infections that cause the establishment of biofilms on the embedded biomedical surfaces are the leading cause of sepsis and are often related to colonization of implants by Staphylococcus epidermidis. Materials and Methods: A total of 40 clinical S. aureus isolates were collected from Zabol, Iran. The ability of these strains to form biofilm was determined by microli...

Does biofilm formation have different pathways in Staphylococcus aureus?

Objective(s): Biofilm formation is one of the most important factors in the development of infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus. In this study, the expression levels of genes responsible for biofilm formation were studied in methicillin sensitive and methicillin resistant S. aureus.Materials and Methods: A total of 100 meticillin-r...

Detection of Gene Encoding Enterotoxin A in Staphylococcus aureus Isolated from Cream Pastries

Background: Staphylococcus aureus has always been known as an important kind of bacteria causing food poisoning. This study was carried out to determine S. aureus contamination in cream pastries collected from popular confectioneries in Hamedan, Iran; also, presence of the gene encoding Staphylococcal Enterotoxin A (SEA) was studied in the isolates. Methods: During April to October 2014 (as ho...

Screening of genes encoding adhesion factors and biofilm formation in Staphylococcus aureus isolates from poultry.

Staphylococcus aureus isolates recovered from poultry between 1970 and 1972 (90 old isolates) and in 2006 (81 recent isolates) were screened for the presence of bap, icaA and icaD genes associated with biofilm formation, and for bbp, cna, ebpS, eno, fib, fnbA, fnbB, clfA and clfB genes that encode microbial surface components recognizing adhesive matrix molecules (MSCRAMMs). Most of the old iso...

Detection of icaABCD Genes and Biofilm Formation in Clinical Isolates of Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus

Background & Objectives:  Methicillin resistance Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is one of the most important pathogens that causes several nosocomial and community infections. Adhesion to surfaces and biofilm formation is considered main step in staphylococcal infection. The aims of this study were to determine presence oficaABCD genes and relation to the biofilm formation in of...
